THESIS STATEMENT :

That the social and cultural implications of the Internet are affecting civilization in negative contexts.  I will examine both the histories of the printing press – the predecessor to the Internet – and the Internet itself to examine crucial difference.  My argument will then be affirmed in the form of the Web Blog.
